We are very excited out opening up the Regional Activity Center (RAC) on Windsor Lake in Loves Park, IL. Paddle and Trail is operating this new Rockford/Loves Park activity lake in partnership with the Rockford Park District. Activities on the lake include fishing, kayak and canoe rentals, SUP rentals and paddlesport instruction. We also host the catch and release Mad Anglers Fishing Club and weekly Windsor Lake Fishing League.
Fishing includes great shoreline casting and fishing kayak rentals through the store. Windsor Lake is a catch and release lake. Daily fishing passes are as low as $5 for adults and $3 for students. Monthly and Seasonal passes are also available. We have a great selection of new fishing kayaks for rent, giving you a chance to try the hottest new category in the kayak industry.
Windsor Lake is a great place to get your feet wet on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). Across the country everybody is trying this hot new water sport that offers a great day on the water and a fun way to workout. Daily rentals are available as are introductory classes and yoga classes.
The controlled size of Windsor also allow us to teach basic kayak classes with no worry of other boats and lots of people watching. You can have fun just enjoying your time with your instructor.
